Nissan Magnite Red Edition Launch date – Booking, Features Details | Nissan Magnite Red Edition going Launch on July 18 – Booking, Features Details | Nissan Motor India is all set to expand its Magnite range of subcompact SUVs with a new red edition that will be launched on July 18, 2022. Pre-bookings for the new model have already begun across the country. The new Nissan Magnite Red Edition will be available in three variants – XV MT, Turbo XV MT and Turbo XV CVT. The automaker says the new Red Edition SUV will provide “unforgettable drives” with its “bold design, strong performance, comfort, advanced technology and connectivity features.

” On the outside, the new Nissan Magnite Red Edition sports red accents on the front grille, front bumper trim, wheel arches and side body panels. The model features distinctive Red Edition badging along with distinctive body graphics, LED screw-in plate and tailgate trim. In terms of features, the Red Edition has ambient mood lighting and a wireless charger. Features such as a 7.0-inch full TFT instrument panel, Wifi connectivity, start/stop button, traction control system, brake assist, hill start assist and autodynamic steering are also available.

Recently, the automaker discontinued production of two CVT variants of the Nissan Magnite – XL and XV. Currently, the model range is priced between Rs 5.88 lakh – Rs 10.56 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The SUV’s engine range includes a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol with 72bhp and 100bhp respectively.

There is no diesel engine option. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and CVT. If reports are to be believed, the Japanese automaker is considering a 7-seater version of the Nissan Magnite SUV for the Indian market. The model may have a sliding system for adjusting the legroom in the middle and third rows.
