MG Service on wheels program | The MG Service on Wheels programme, a new service initiative from MG Motor, allows customers to have routine repairs and maintenance for their MG vehicles completed at home.
A mobile workshop will be used to deliver this new service, and it will be outfitted with the essential equipment that service technicians need.
MG Service on wheels program
The MG Service on Wheels pilot programme has begun in Rajkot, Gujarat, and will soon spread to other regions of the nation, according to the brand. The new initiative “will cover the majority of service operations that are currently only provided in a workshop,” according to MG.
A hydraulic scissor lift connected to a hydraulic power pack, an air compressor, a digital oil dispenser, a waste oil collection tank, and a pneumatic line with a filter-regulator-lubricator (FRL) unit are all included in the mobile workshop.
Additionally, the workshop will contain space for spare parts, a wheel balancer, an electronic control box, and a first-aid kit.
other competitors are providing the same service
Similar services are also provided by other manufacturers, including Tata, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, and the long-gone Ford. Because they lessen the inconvenience of making service visits during the workweek and on the weekends, these services make maintenance simple for the car owner.
Due to the fact that the majority of the work may be done at the homes of the customers, it can also assist in lowering the infrastructure needs for service centres.
