Mahindra unveiled XUV400 electric 446 km-range SUV
The XUV400 electric SUV is a new product from Mahindra & Mahindra. The first item with the copper twin-peaks emblem under the XUV sub-brand, which is exclusive to electric vehicles, is the automobile. The XUV300’s interior design has been retained, although it now features a darker trim with copper highlights. The Mahindra XUV400 electric battery
The Mahindra XUV400 gets a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and is claimed to offer a driving range of 456 kilometres on a single charge as per Indian driving cycle standards (MIDC). Moreover, this electric SUV will take 50 minutes to complete 80 per cent charging with the 50kW DC fast charger. When charged via a 7.2 kW/32A outlet, it will take 6 hours 30 minutes to attain 0 to 100 per cent charge, and the same can be achieved in 13 hours using a standard 3.3 kW/16A domestic socket. The battery is protected too, with stronger steel to keep it safe from damage and comes with IP67 certification.
