Hyundai Tucson 2022 pre-orders open ahead of the August 4th launch with the fourth-generation Hyundai Tucson recently launched in India, the company opened pre-orders for its new flagship SUV ahead of the official pricing announcement on August 4.

After unveiling the 2022 Hyundai Tucson in India, the company has started taking reservations for its upcoming flagship SUV. In addition to a completely redesigned exterior and interior design, the new Tucson also features a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Hyundai Tucson 2022 new design

 The fourth generation Tucson uses Hyundai’s stunning new design language. The language will also be used in future Hyundai SUVs. Length 4,630 mm x width 1,865 mm x height 1,665 mm, pitch 2.755 mm. The 2022 Hyundai Tucson will be offered in Signature and Platinum classes. In addition to the 10.25-inch touchscreen, the dashboard is also fully digital.

There’s a panoramic sunroof, Bose audio setup, power front seats with driver-side memory, power tailgate, ventilated and heated front seats, and more. A big issue regarding security features is the introduction of ADAS. These include forward collision warning and braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, safety exit, etc. The new Hyundai Tucson reaches with two engine options. There’s a 156bhp and 192Nm petrol motor matching to a 6-speed automatic and an 186bhp and 416Nm diesel engine matching to an 8-speed automatic. The diesel variation also gets an AWD option.

The 2022 Tucson competes with the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Citroen C5 Aircross.

The 2022 Tucson will compete with the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan and Citroen C5 Aircross. Hyundai launched the fourth generation Tucson in India. The SUV is available in Platinum and Signature variants with a price tag of Rs 277,000 (ex-showroom). The new Tucson gets Hyundai’s parametric design with semi-reflective daytime running lights integrated into the front bumper grille and LED taillights.

At the rear of the car is a full-width LED light bar with triangular taillights. The Tucson gets a dual-tone interior with a ten.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and a digital instrument cluster. The SUV also gets Hyundai’s new 4-spoke wheel, ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, powered tailgate, control, wireless charging and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The Tucson is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine that produces 154 BHP and 192 Nm and a 2.0-litre diesel that creates 183 BHP and 416 Nm. While the previous comes with a 6-speed automatic, the diesel motor is paired with 8-speed transmission. The Signature Diesel is available with an all-wheel drive. These are the three states of the earth. It’s snow, mud and sand.

The Tucson is also equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which include features such as Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Cross Traffic Alert. The SUV also has a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, ESC, downhill control and four-wheel disc brakes.
